This year we commemorate Mary’s “Yes!” slightly later than usual due to Holy Week and Easter being so early.
In fact, we remember this day every time we say the Hail Mary, opening as it does with the greeting of the Angel Gabriel to Mary: “Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.”
The setting of the prayer below comes from the collection ‘Many Rooms’, and was inspired by the Lady Chapel in Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
