Save the date – update!

Well that’s all the rats gone! What could possibly go wrong?

The first draft of the cantata is well on its way to being completed. Don’t forget to join us all at the premier performance of ‘The Pied Piper of Hamelin’, my setting of the Robert Browning poem for adult and children’s choirs, which will take place on:

Saturday 9th May 2026 7:30 p.m.

at The Great Hall, Liverpool Hope University, Creative Campus, L6 1HP

and will feature:

  • Hope Metropolitan Singers, Richard Lea, Director
  • Liverpool Oriel Singers, Rüdiger Ruwe, Director
  • The Brixi Singers, Richard Lea, Director
  • The choirs of local schools
  • 2 pianos, percussion and soloists

The second half of the concert will be a performance of Carl Orff’s ‘Carmina Burana’.
