This setting of the Pentecost Sequence was written in 2012 to celebrate Archbishop Patrick Kelly’s golden jubilee of ordination to the priesthood.
The hymn was later arranged in the style of Vaughan Williams’ Old Hundredth setting, and this version was performed at one of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral’s golden jubilee concerts in 2017.
