Let All The World In Every Corner Sing

For unaccompanied SSAATTBB

The first page of the score

This setting of George Herbert’s poem was written for – and dedicated to – Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Cantata Choir and their director, James Luxton. It comes in two different arrangements. The first (and more straightforward) arrangement is for double choir, while the second includes two semi-choruses (SSA and TTB) to be situated in different parts of the building so that the effect of ‘every corner’ singing can be given a very visceral quality.
